Christforums

.... an orthodox (true and correct when contrasted with Liberal theology) Protestant forum whose members espouse the Apostolic doctrines in the Biblical theologies set forth by Augustine, Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin and John Knox etc. We do not "argue" with nor do we solicit the membership of people who espouse secular or cultic ideologies. We believe that our conversations are to be faith building and posts that advance heretical or apostate thinking will be immediately deleted and the poster permanently banned from the forum. This is a Christian Protestant community for people to explore the traditional theologies of Classical Protestantism.

Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Dinesh D'Souza: American black Culture is the cause of black failure

Recommended Posts

We need to put a stop to this kind of behavior that is especially plaguing the Black community. Democrats encourage and enable this kind of behavior. It is time to teach Black children that they can do better, that they can be better.

Great interview. D'Souza usually makes a lot of sense.

Dinesh D'Souza is wrong in his interpretation of the struggles of Black Americans. What he deems as Black Culture is his instance on denying the mental psychological affects of 400 years of mistreatment of Black people. Black culture is alive and in need of help like all cultures in this country. What is the problem with the Native people in the country who do not see living the high strata of life. What do Dinesh D'Souza and others have to say about that?

Hello Dropping,

Did you actually watch and listen to the video? Any responses directly to the OP? What exactly was D'souza's interpretation and/or definition of American black culture?

You seem to think that there is a 400 year old black man having been mistreated throughout his span of life which exists today?

You also seem to think multi-culturalism is productive to the American way of life? Why is it that where multi-culturalism abounds so does increased segregation?

You mention Native (Indian) Americans as if they are against integrating with American society. I'm sure Native Casino owners and those Indians receiving a check from its profit would disagree. But this isn't about Native Americans, it is about American black culture.

God bless,

William

If you are a follower of truth, I accept your testimony. But to deny the sin of racism as if it is no longer a problem, smacks of new age. To pack it away as if it is a way of thinking, and that we have mentally ascended to new highs in thinking, is to forget that Jesus said, " Satan is the God of this world". If you think that Satan has stop using the sin of racism, than I wish you the best my brother, but I must be about my father business.

I leave you peace, not as the world gives, but the peace of Jehovah.

You didn't answer a single question and I see no evidence that you viewed the OP's video. Please refrain from responding to thread titles, but rather address the content of the OP. And it would help if you consider the OP's points within context.

I only watched the first few seconds of the video where the gentleman gave three reasons why racism exists. None of the reasons included lack of faith in God, which is the only reason why all earthly evil exists.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. against spiritual wickedness in high places." Eph.6:12

We use invisible armor to destroy evil. We are taugh to overcome evil with good.
