Good Stewardship

Recommended Posts

Living in the modern world the word steward brings up the images of airplane hostess and host more than what it traditionally referred to in the Bible. Because it's hard to image a steward, it's hard to imagine ourselves as stewards. I just remember the parable about the stewards where one buries his master's money while the other grew the money and increased it. Even though the first steward hadn't spent his master's money, his failure to increase it meant he failed. It's kind of like how we are giving forgiveness so we need to spread the good news so more people can receive God's blessing. What else do you think is part of your stewardship as a Christian?
