    I watched a few minutes of this but there was nothing new and the delivery was boring.

    There were never three Popes. There were three claimants but there could never be three Popes at once.

    BTW If you ever go to Rome you must see Michaelangelo's Pieta, just inside St. Peter's on the right. It's stunning. I liked to stand stand and gaze at it when I was there.

      Hi Bebe, I saw the Pieta when I was there, and it is magnificent as you have said. I just wish I could have gotten a little closer to it (but I understand why that's no longer possible). I only had about 1/2 of a day to see the Vatican, and that, as I'm sure you are well aware, is hardly enough time. It is a truly amazing place :)

        Quite educational. Thank you for linking this, William. :) I think that Dr. Luther was a lot closer to the idea of conciliarism than he was to the concepts of papalism.
