Reply to The Millennium or Rule of Christ on Earth: What will it be like?
    by Sue D.
I was just reading ch. 39 :25 & 28 -- back up to vs 21. This is the first that I've read much from Ezekiel -- one of the more complicated books of Prophesy. Because I've heard that the Jewish people are presently regathering themselves to their homeland. Some of this is referring to the conditions just Before the rapture? There is so much 'stuff' that's going to happen -- to some extent we'll find out when it happens. We are simply to be spiritually read 'now' for when 'whatever' will happen Does happen.

Unfortunately -- internet friends can become our Main friends. We can loose connection with Local people. And, you're right -- there Is a lot of Good on Internet.

I tend to be guilty of that. But there are a lot of really Nice people on Forums that we get to know -- sort of an anonymous community. With the availability to connect more through PM's / email.

These are interesting days in technowledgy -- FB, one of my daughters uses instagram with two of her kids.

Yesterday our electricity in part of the town was out for a couple of hours. I had to think -- what Can I do that doesn't require electricity. And it was warm outside -- no electric meant no AC or fans, either. I took a book outside to read in the light. It was interesting. That was only 2 hrs. It was lunch time -- I use a Microwave a Lot. And the gas stove had an electronic ignition. It was interesting.

If I may ask -- how did you come to know Jesus Christ as your Savior?

For Me -- it was having a good teaching Pastor at church -- he taught Bible from the pulpit and there were Sunday School teachers who taught us. My parents had us in church regularly, involved in church activities -- I grew up knowing Bible and about salvation. A good 'head' knowledge but it was a while before I realized I needed a Heart acceptance. So I accepted Jesus Chris as my Personal Savior. Acknowledged that I needed what He did on the cross for everyone Including Me. Acknowledged Him and thanked Him. And I knew at That moment that the Holy Spirit had come to indwell me -- a real peace came to me....

What Ezekiel describes cannot possibly be BEFORE the Millennium, since there is no way that Israel could fulfil the conditions stated below until the second coming of Christ: And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,...

    Reply to Helping the Poor
    by Lucas
Well according to the parable of the Good Samaritan, the one who is your neighbor is the one who has a need. Having said that, we will note that the primary duty of Christians in the New Testament was to other needy Christians, as well as to widows and orphans.

At the same time, truly helping the poor means helping them to stand on their own feet and not be looking for handouts on an ongoing basis. Which means trying to make them into productive citizens, but above all presenting them with the Gospel and the necessity of being saved.

There are too many so-called Christian charities which are simply social services. And in some cases, the employees of the charities benefit over and above the people who they are supposed to be helping. Then we have so-called Christian organizations which are actively supporting illegal immigration and harboring and protecting criminal elements....

    stormy love

in the eye of the storm we do not admire the lawn or even scourn lest we be torn between coming together to survive not only the weather but also to attract a subject more true so when we collectively look at you (jesus) it is then we know what to do when our destinies collide and promote a wondrous peace to reside within our very soul enabling destiny's role to be fulfilled at last where we change our gaze to the present not past...stormy love provides one who confides and at last we discover a friend who does not pretend and is a beginning not end so that we collectively send for a hand to lend in times of struggle and fear but together so near to a truth so clear we all hold it so dear...love is the inclusion of a perfect profusion of understanding that is never demanding and keeps us all landing coming to a position of standing securely on our feet therefore one who always defeats any challenge presenting with confidence unrelenting. Praise god

CHRISTIAN POEMS (AWESOME) "Love To Stay (No Other Way)" & "The Seed of Hearts'' & ''No Fear Here''
    in Poetry
    by tomjohnsonlegacy
“love to stay (no other way)”

it is time to tell all of you about a subject so true that it can only come from one place (albeit not enough to count every face) but is sufficient enough to raise your attention and definitely adequate to achieve retention. So memorise the following statement that i put to you: There are some things that surpass what is old and what is new. It is as timeless as time itself and you can’t leave it on any shelf. You either have it as a centrepiece of your favourite room so you won’t be forgetting about it anytime soon and i dare to say that you’ll make it through every day knowing you’re sure to be okay for you’re sure when love is center it will always stay…

    john 3:16

    “the seed of hearts”

my life has just begun – i’m all of thirty-one and won’t stop until i’m done and god sends back his son. Jesus is his name and through the ages he remains the same. Yesterday, today and forever for there is no...

God's crew (how do you do?)
    in Poetry
    by tomjohnsonlegacy

    welcome to god’s crew

well how do you do? Welcome to god’s crew! We started out with just a few but i knew we would inevitably accrue more than enough in his sight as an ocean view and sunset of gold and blue. Now we must review the human race’s need to be renewed by a reminder of who we all belong to.

It must be said that god is not dead and we advise you turn to god instead and be obedient and feel lead to follow god’s crew and be fed as i pray for these words to be read before you fall asleep in your bed or turn deep red.

You see god has set us all free so we can all see the beauty of his majesty and the ignition and completion of our destiny. So now we will be what we were born to be.

There’s no distance too far for god’s love to fill our hearts and know this is just the start of just knowing he will never depart and his love is endless for from him we can never be torn apart.

    So what are you...

I usually spend about 5-6 hours collectively in a day on the internet. There are some days when I spend about a couple of hours only. I use the internet mostly for information and to communicate with people via things like email and social media. I am not and internet addict and I can choose to stay without it if I have to. These days I have seen the internet doing a lot of good to people and also a lot of misuse of it.

Yes. Only the Jesus Christ is savior. I am not reading the Bible every day, I may not pray every day. I don't even have any denomination as I don't belong to particular Church; however, I have a deep faith in the Jesus Christ and he is my only savior.

Some good quotes, and thanks for sharing. I like a lot of the quotes of Pablo Neruda the Chilean Poet and some of those are-

Perhaps the earth can teach us
    As when everything seems dead
And later proves to be alive

Poetry Is An Act Of Peace

If nothing saves us from death at least love should save us from life

Have you given any thought to the possibility that a person will look at your extensive post and conclude that 'salvation' is Way Too Complicated and not give it a second thought.

A lot of what you've included isn't necessary For salvation.

Your presentation is more teaching a class.

    Salvation is Not complicated.
