Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Most Reliable Science Documents

I am wanting to be able to learn more about the sciences in order to better defend the faith that is in me. I also am just interested in learning about them but am very aware that there are a lot of false evidence and writings in the popular science communities. Could you point me in the right direction for resources to read and study?

Answers In Genesis is good resource, David Rives is another one of my favorite resources as well. Some might suggest Kent Hovind, but not long ago he claimed to know when the second coming of Christ would happen, so I would deffinitly write him off as a heritic.

Here's a video of that David Rives guy I mentioned.
