Christforums

.... an orthodox (true and correct when contrasted with Liberal theology) Protestant forum whose members espouse the Apostolic doctrines in the Biblical theologies set forth by Augustine, Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin and John Knox etc. We do not "argue" with nor do we solicit the membership of people who espouse secular or cultic ideologies. We believe that our conversations are to be faith building and posts that advance heretical or apostate thinking will be immediately deleted and the poster permanently banned from the forum. This is a Christian Protestant community for people to explore the traditional theologies of Classical Protestantism.

Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Fresno State Issues Decision on Bush-Hating Prof., Get Ready for Some Fireworks

Recommended Posts

Well, if the university doesn't want to take action I am sure many of her would-be students will voice their opinion by taking someone else's class, or simply head on to a different university/college.

There may not be much you can do to a tenured professor (which is stupid by the way), but the university will certainly get hit where it hurts. Their revenues from tuition. Quite honestly they should at least ask for her resignation.

The racist hate mongering tenured professor apparently doesn't realize who she was insulting.

The university showing no courage in this being this tenured professor is a sorry example of what will teach students who attend at least is made a public spectacle of by association with that professor. Parents and students are forewarned what awaits should they consider attending Fresno State in future.

Isn't it funny though? There are headlines in the past of people who lost their jobs because of what they personally Tweeted of put on Facebook. But this tenured racist hate mongering professor suffers no such fate. There isn't a morals clause for employees at Fresno State. That's always a warning.

Tenure is a very safe place to be.

This is actually a very good reason to abolish the practice.
