Christforums

.... an orthodox (true and correct when contrasted with Liberal theology) Protestant forum whose members espouse the Apostolic doctrines in the Biblical theologies set forth by Augustine, Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin and John Knox etc. We do not "argue" with nor do we solicit the membership of people who espouse secular or cultic ideologies. We believe that our conversations are to be faith building and posts that advance heretical or apostate thinking will be immediately deleted and the poster permanently banned from the forum. This is a Christian Protestant community for people to explore the traditional theologies of Classical Protestantism.

Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Surgery went well. Painful as i was semi awake. Today i am pretty sore, much more that I expected to be.

T thak you all so much for your prayers. Now comes the next weekly infusions for the rest of my life. God grant my kidneys to stabilize without getting worse, that is my earnest desire.

God bless you all for your prayers.

Noland; My kidneys were severely damaged by a drug the Navy doctors gave me me to save my life in 1967-68. I was blessed to live, by Gods Grace and Mercy. I have stage three kidney disease, that has gotten worse over time. This last year I experienced acute kidney failure that lasted almost four months. My kidneys are filtering out magnesium, even though I take 9 magnesium pills a day, it just gets filtered out and will not stay in my blood. I now must have weekly to twice a week, IV infusions to replace magnesium that is being dumped out. They think this will work.

My kidney specialists contacted several other specialists about my condition, as its very rarer. After consulting a number of specialists the conclusion was I had to have infusions of magnesiumThey must administer the IV's with a crash cart near. There were problems finding an infusion center willing to do the infusions and accepting me. My kidney doctor's associate said he was willing to oversee my IV infusions, and correcting the amount of magnesium needed weekly. All this has taken much effort on doctor's that cared enough to help me. We are blessed to have such caring doctors and and an infusion center willing to accept me/ By Gods Grace and Mercy I am so blessed.

Aagin thank you all for your prayers/
