John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

California is predominantly Democrat in elections. This is no surprise. However, maybe the legal teams that are fighting this issue are going about it the wrong way. That any judge claims an abortion is basic health services is bad enough. Basically, that is a really stupid judge.

The challenge these legal teams need to make to the offending side, that which upholds the ACA, is to prove that pregnancy is an illness. And a fetus is a disease. Using the term fetus makes it an unemotional topic for the other side.

When they can't do that, then the basic health services claim is out.

Maybe bringing this to Trump's attention would be a good thing.

Call or write the White house = http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/write-or-call

There are social media links at that page site also.

Making the aforementioned observation concerning a baby may also help. Pregnancy is not an illness and a baby is not a disease.

I have this bumper sticker on my car as well. We have to send the message somewhere. Why not while in traffic. :RpS_blink:

I have another sticker for the tailgaters here. "Do You Follow Jesus This Closely?" :RpS_biggrin:

Can you imagine that one leading someone to Christ? Because I have bibles in my car too that I got from Dollar Tree just in case. Their testimony being, I found Christ while tailgating a mini-van. :RpS_lol: Hey, whatever works baby!:RpS_thumbsup:

There are some providers that are now offering coverage for abortions as a rider, which is one way of handling the issue without making everyone pay for it.

Quite honestly, any church that is concerned over this needs to find one of these insurance companies, or just sign their people up on Medi-share. Obviously, this does not solve the societal issue, yet it does remove them from having to pay for something for which they do not believe.

That's just common sense right there. Good news indeed.
