Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Lance Wallnau - "7m Summit 2017" (7 Mountains Mandate)

Recommended Posts

I came across this information today regarding an upcoming event (October 13-15 2017 in Orlando, Florida) called "Sheep and Goat Nations: 7m Summit 2017."

Many of you may have already heard of Lance Wallnau and his "7m Movement", but if you haven't, here's a link to the official website:

Lance Wallnau is one of the main proponents of the "7 Mountain/Spheres teaching that has infiltrated and spread throughout many churches and Christians organizations today. It is a dominionist theology, and those who hold to it claim that Christians must "take back" these 7 Mountains (or Spheres) of society from Satan. They believe that in this way the world will become Christian and made ready for Christ's return.

The "7 Mountains/Spheres are as follows:

Arts and Entertainment

The Family

The "7 Mountains Mandate" has become mixed in with the Gospel and the "Great Commission", so that many are being taught that taking back these 7 Mountains is the most effective strategy for getting the Gospel to the entire world. (This is taught to many missionaries in YWAM for example).

Here is a link to another website that explains the 7 Mountains further:

Unfortunately, we can't ignore this. The influence of this teaching is only spreading. Potentially hundreds, if not thousands, of young missionaries are being taught this belief system within missionary organizations like YWAM (and I have first hand knowledge of this as I have family and friends involved with YWAM and they confirmed to me that this is what they were taught. They are not concerned, but I am).

Here are some screenshots taken from Lance Wallnau's Facebook page and the official website for the "7m Summit 2017" event.
