Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

Hi Everyone,

I'm Dana, a 27 year old Anglican. i was raised a Catholic, but chose to practice as an Anglican several years ago as I left the family home and made my own choices as an adult about religion. I've reached a point in life where I've recognized that my faith is not as strong as I would like it to be. My journey of life has taken me to a place where I'm wanting to seek out a better relationship with the Lord and to grow in my faith.

In coming to this forum, I'm hoping to be able to grow spiritually and share in my journey with others.

Best wishes,

Dana
