Christforums

.... an orthodox (true and correct when contrasted with Liberal theology) Protestant forum whose members espouse the Apostolic doctrines in the Biblical theologies set forth by Augustine, Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin and John Knox etc. We do not "argue" with nor do we solicit the membership of people who espouse secular or cultic ideologies. We believe that our conversations are to be faith building and posts that advance heretical or apostate thinking will be immediately deleted and the poster permanently banned from the forum. This is a Christian Protestant community for people to explore the traditional theologies of Classical Protestantism.

Christian Fellowship

John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

I wonder where he got this information? The Bible says that all rulers hold their positions by God's authority. That means that he has also given Kim Jong Un the authority to rule North Korea. We need to pray that neither Kim nor President Trump will do or say anything that will lead to war.

What will you Americans say if North Korea first started with nukes? Or Iran did? Or China? Or Pakistan!!

Or Israel?

I hope you have good enough other than nuclear 'fire and fury' weapons ready and USE THEM FIRST.

God bless the last Protestant Christian country and nation on earth

Starting a war is Not a good plan. Defending our country and our comrads in other countries, Yes.

Sometimes Jeffress needs to be careful about his words. Do we give God the glory or the Pres. of a country.

The leader of N.Korea isn't pulling a surprise on God. God is Still in control, even with the world situation as it is Now.

North Korea has a strong millitary but poor economy, They're bluffing. War would ruin their country even though they can throw a hard punch first.

Some military commentators are speculating that N.Korea is acting as a proxy to Iran. Sanctions were lifted from Iran under a deal that they would not develop a nuclear arsenal. Instead, the speculation alleged that they are developing nuclear weapons under Kim Jung. This would explain how N.Korea has advanced so quickly in just a short amount of time.

Of course, this is speculation.

God bless,

William

N. Korea is dumb enough to threaten Guam , and in the next week or so -- he's 'asking' to have deadly consequences. It will be interesting to 'live through history, up close and personal'. WW 1 changed the world Forever, followed by WW 2 and numerous smaller wars since then. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor by surprise and look what happened after That.

Believe it or not -- God is Still in control. He knows the Grand - Big picture and we need to trust Him that He knows the Best outcome.
