John Calvin puts forward a very simple reason why love is the greatest gift: “Because faith and hope are our own: love is diffused among others.” In other words, faith and hope benefit the possessor, but love always benefits another. In John 13:34–35 Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Love always requires an “other” as an object; love cannot remain within itself, and that is part of what makes love the greatest gift.

I have heard this before, when Jesus said "love your neighbor" the word in Greek was agape, which is the highest form of love, eros is romantic love and He never spoke on it, but He did say "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" Matthew 19-4.

People for years have tried to mold Jesus into their image and it never works out so well, I hope they repent before seeing His face, these things must deeply hurt the Lord who loves them so much.

Liberals like to smear Jesus. Liberals also like to suggest that asexual people are homosexuals (in reality, homosexuals are more sex-obsessed than normal people).

Unfortunate as it is sitcoms try to portray Jesus this way, we can't rely on television in this day and age to give us an accurate portrayal of our Lord and Savior. The only safe proven method to hear from God is through the Word.
