    Does God have a mother?

I do appreciate this much for you valuable knowledge regarding our religion. I admit that I am a kind of person who apt not to argue, to debate. I do submit myself to the beliefs, doctrines or whatever discussed here which are beyond my limited knowledge to rebut or to disprove. I am here to share what I have learned from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which brought down to the water of baptism. I do respect anything here and I would also expect that I would be respected. My faith and my faith alone has led me to believe that the LDS Church is true. Out of my 36 years of membership on that Church, I never ever dare to question anything there. If I don't like that kind of teachings, that kind of religion, I would have earlier asked my removal of my membership. Since I hadn't found anything amiss on the said religion, I would say my family and I are in the true Church of the Lord and we are secured as we faithfully keep our covenant. Whatever the decision of the admin or whoever is in-charge of this site, I am very willing to submit myself and would be happy to exit from this group with regret I have come short of the expectation of the group. Sorry if I couldn't prove anything that I have posted them here. Thank you for the time you have given me. I know the Lord would guide me on what to do for this matter. I know those religions mentioned here have the truth and they spiritually nurture it. It is my prayer that anything here would be well and good, brethren in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

    Are you consistent in Church?

I never stop praying since I became member of the Church in 1980 and I always in the Church for any activities or conferences we have. It is a part of my duty to magnify my calling in the Church to set an example to the members of the Church and the nonmembers as well. I feel happy when I am involved in the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a great feeling I have had when I could bring back those persons who have been led stray by disbelief or backsliding or being innocent of the truth. By being active in the Church, I could in the service of teaching them, and baptizing them.

Ilonggo is one of the 175 dialects in our country and it is not widely used or spoken by our fellow Filipino. The language that is considered as the national spoken dialect is Tagalog or Pilipino. Anyone who could travel to more 7,000 islets and islands in our country could be readily understand if he speak Tagalog or Pilipino for it is the medium of instruction in all schools in the country.

    Does God have a mother?

Thank you very much. i know I have come to the place not to argue, not to disprove the beliefs of those who are here but to testify that what I have learned, what I have studied and what I am right now is my personal experience and my personal conversion without any fanfare or whatever aggrandizement therein, but as the product of my personal search for happiness which could make myself at ease, stay away from the stupor of my thought, and be confident that I could be save on the last day together with wife, my children, and my family. As what the Bible says, "now come let us... reason together..." Reasoning together is not finding faults or pointing what is right or what is wrong... but how the faith has made us whole... how the Holy Ghost converted us to become a "new creature" in the simplest form of our understanding. For God is not the God of confusion. God is love. I know it.

That's better. Are you not aware that the Bible says that there are still things which God revealed, has revealed and has to reveal for the people to be aware of? I am just presenting of what my faith has led me and has convinced me. I am not in position to argue or to debate. My point is to present what I have learned, what I have believed and what I have been living as the truth according to my personal conviction by the promptings of the Holy Ghost and faith in the Lord. We are not like the scribes and the Pharisees in the Biblical times that they did seek for the signs in order to believe Jesus Christ. Our faith is enough for us to believe for the things that are not seen but they are true..

Are we here to argue or to present on what we believe. I have made mentioned that it was revealed to us. We don't need to have proof for it is our faith that we do so. If we argue with that I am sure we couldn't finish it unless one of us we respect of what I am presenting in my own belief. If we don't subscribe to my belief it is up to you. I don't have to argue with you.

    Three-Fold Mission of the Church

Yap, I am a Mormon. I chose my denomination as Other for our Church is not mentioned in the selection. Our Church is called The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or simply LDS.

    I Am a New Creature

My nationality is a Filipino. In our country the Philippines, there are more than 175 languages and dialects. And ours is an Ilonggo dialect for we belong to the Western Visayas. And the actual or the mother of such dialect is Hiligaynon. It takes time to explain it to you.

That is our local dialect. I just combined it for It is in a form of a phrase, "Nakita Ko Na" which is similar to the famous expression of the great mathematician Archimedes who shouted "Eureka".

    Does God have a mother?

This is also my basic question when I joined the Church if Jesus has a Heavenly Mother since He has a Heavenly Father. I have been in my present Church for 36 years. Every Sunday, we have our Gospel class, Sunday School class, and a class for us as male members of the Church. Other that Sunday classes, we have our Institute class for the adults and Seminary Class for the youths. Our references for our studies are well researched and are enriched with the passages from the scriptures. I came later to the answer that Jesus has a mother, a Heavenly Mother for that matter. We have a living prophet that communes with the living God and he had received a revelation that we have a Heavenly Mother. We have found this in one of our Church hymns: "O My Father" I had learned to call thee Father, Thru thy Spirit from on high, But, until the key of knowledge Was restored, I knew not why. In the heav'ns are parents single? No, the thought makes reason stare! Truth is reason; truth eternal Tells me I've a mother there.

    Three-Fold Mission of the Church

By the time I was converted to the Church, I have learned the three-fold mission of the Church. The first is proclaiming the Gospel to those who haven't known it, to those who have been lost by teaching them about God, about Jesus Christ, about Heavenly Father, and the importance of baptism by immersion. The second is perfecting the saints through the Gospel studies, through reading the scriptures, the writings of the chosen people of God especially those who hold the Priesthood of God, and by listening to the spiritual messages of the leaders of the Church. And the last is redeeming the dead. The salvation of the living is not complete without working the salvation of the dead and it is being worked out in the holy ordinances inside the temple of God.`

    I Am a New Creature

I find the truth sometime in 1980. I was baptized to the Church which has the fullness of the Gospel. Through my own conviction and through the conversion of the Holy Ghost I have totally submitted myself and was immersed to the water of baptism. I know that Jesus is the Christ. No one could come to the Father except through Him. With such conversion I have had I volunteer myself to do the missionary work, proselyting to the lost brethren we have and bring them back to the fold of our Heavenly Father. This is your brother in Christ, Nakitakona which simply means "I have found it."
