By all means, feel free to ban me but I won't be bothered by useless threats.

My only agenda is being a Christian and not just your version of it.
  3. The question is really, do you really want to leave this world to accomplish what you are asking? Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. http://biblehub.com/1_corinthians/5-10.htm

People who use Amazon also can choose to support abortion with a donation of their sales: https://saynsumthn.wordpress.com/2014/10/27/amazon-gives-donations-to-abortion-clinics-and-planned-parenthood/ Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. http://biblehub.com/1_corinthians/5-10.htm

I think you should consider boycotting Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/24cm-Induced-Abortion-Suction-Tubes/dp/B018V9YZJ8/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1453755800&sr=1-1&keywords=abortion
  6. William, The question is whether or not boycotts do anything. http://www.theguardian.com/vital-sig...ists-consumers I knew a church and a pastor that prayed about the issue for a year and it continued because there was no evidence that God did anything either. It continues out of the blackness of man's heart. I have a question for you. Why didn't God remove the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Eating from it would cause spiritual death and alienation from God so why didn't God remove it? If God doesn't remove it then why do you seek to remove things that cause evil? Chuck
  7. Let me know how it works out. So far, they are still in business and it doesn't appear that any boycott is going to hurt them because they have a monopoly and because people have to buy paper and office products, a boycott isn't going to hurt them. And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations. http://biblehub.com/luke/16-9.htm But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. http://biblehub.com/luke/6-35.htm But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. http://biblehub.com/galatians/5-15.htm New International Version But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. © NIV http://biblehub.com/matthew/5-39.htm
  8. I'm not going to look or try. You were dead in your tresspasses and sins. There is a higher law than right or wrong or else you wouldn't have been given a second chance by God to be saved.
  9. You would have to ban images from history or from the historical church as well.
  10. You're banning stuff that hasn't appeared here yet? I think you are banning a reality of what is even if it is distorted. John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
  11. By the way, what do you think of the Church of the Closed Fist? Come on in. We'll judge you up and down. Do you think it will work?
  12. 1 Corinthians 10:19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? http://www.blbclassic.org/Bible.cfm?b=1Co&c=10&t=KJV#19 The answer is "no". In my years on the net, I haven't seen many people with avatars depicting Jesus except for three crosses. I think banning them can be construed as an attack on the truth. Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. And what is the motive of the Christian who decides to use it? Mark 9:38 ¶ And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. Mark 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. Do you have the right to forbid other Christians who follow you not? Philippians 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. Can you rejoice if Christ is preached in pretense? Can you? So the real question is, do you reject giving people the gospel because of your stance on what you should allow or prohibit? Closed doors means that you keep the world out from hearing your gospel and you decide whom can and cannot participate to hear your gospel. Is there anything about love in any of your decisions? The law comes first and people second? Or does the law negate your potential love for anyone? I've witnessed to people who are in worse shape than what this discussion seeks to ban. Are they throw away souls? Walls that you erect will keep them out especially when you are to go unto all the world and preach the gospel. Jesus didn't say to go into all the world and erect walls.
  13. What about images that were in the tabernacle? Wouldn't you have to ban them too? They were against the Old Testament too: Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: http://biblehub.com/exodus/20-4.htm
  14. William, You can probably find a text copy of "Calvary Chapel Distinctives" on the internet for free. I believe I read Chuck saying that Church boards usually make a pastor their hireling. That means they exert control over the pastor instead of the pastor leading the church. I went to a church like that; one of the elders said he was supporting the church and he hoped the church would die (because they were dependent on him) and told me that they didn't have any money for evangelism so basically the elder clipped my wings even though the pastor wanted me to move forward in the church and teach a class because the pastor wanted to start a school. Its sort of like businesses. Everyone wants to be important so there was this one fortune five hundred company and they had a lot of managers so the managers wanted to look more important than they are so they start wasting the company's money by buying ten dollar pens to sit on their desk and then the corporation finds themselves in trouble so they got rid of the middle managers. No matter who is in charge, there is going to be abuse because men are sinners and sinful or else Jesus wouldn't have had to die for them to go to heaven. Chuck
  15. I went to a Presbyterian Church before because my family could agree on it but they had pre, mid and post trib believers in it but I don't go there anymore because I needed more than two verses a Sunday and sunday school for adults wasn't that much better. We left a Church that changed and we are trying to be nice in leaving. We're in an area that doesn't have a lot of suitable Churches and some parts farther from me doesn't have churches. We are going to a new Church that is strong and sound but I really haven't investigated their form of Church government yet and I have concerns even though they are strong and sound. Going to church means that I have to put up with a lot of sinful things and sinful people but we went somewhere where I could put my judging down and found a lot of love and peace but it doesn't mean they are perfect because we all have heresies.
