    Soveriegn God, Sovereign earth

I know that earth isn't the only planet, but one day while I was cleaning. I was thinking about the earth and I just thought it is so awesome how God pays so much attention to us. Of all the planets earth is the only one of it's kind. I mean the only one with life and operates in such a way to sustain life. I'm not closing the door to possibility of another planet somewhere in the universe like ours. But, so far none has been found. To think that in the immensity of all that surrounds us, water, plants, molecules, atoms, oxygen, carbon dioxide, the ozone layer the galaxy, and the universe itself. God holds the world(earth) in His hands. It just makes me pause when I allow myself to try to understand how much God loves us. All those things that surround us were made to help us live. Maybe I'm writing this in the wrong category, but I am in Awe of God greatness, His power and how He created everything. I get excited about it. I was told when I was young, be aware not to take God for granted. I am learning that, every year I get older. Thanks for reading. Just something to think about.

    Disagreements in Christian Life

No, I don't have examples of this. If I did, I don't believe I would give them as I don't want to argue about scripture or what people think. That wasn't the goal of what I wrote. I have no expectation of agreement, but maybe it's another way to think about the unity problem.

    Disagreements in Christian Life

I believe that the Holy Spirit through the Word of God can bring unity. We are living in periled times right now. Jesus warned us of this in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." It's no surprise to me that there is a lot of division in the church. In 2 Thessalonians 2:15 says "Therefore brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle." I believe that sometimes, Christians hold their opinion about the scripture above the scripture. I certainly have at times. Learning to discern that is very helpful. But, not all will be willing to lay their opinion down, and see if it lines up with scripture. Paul said not to philosophy with the philosophers about scripture. Colossians 2:1-10. The traditions of the Word of God is far above that of the traditions of the word of man.I believe when the church comes back to sound doctrine as laid out in scripture, then unity may begin. These are things that I have been doing a lot of thinking about in my own life. Sometimes, I like to share my thoughts in the midst of the process I'm in.
  6. I like to use a NKJV, although I want to transition to the KJV. I like Bibles that aren't filled with a lot of notes. Although if I was to use a study Bible I like the Thompsham Chain.
