You were afraid she would kill the unborn, so you voted for someone who will steal their healthcare and kill them after they're born. Pro-life womb to tomb or you're just playing games to make you feel good about yourself.

I was stationed in Friedberg, about 21 km NE of Frankfurt. I understand that base closed as well. I spent 3 miserable weeks in the Black Forest in January on maneuvers. Camping in snow in freezing weather was no fun.

Hi Mike, I spent 2 1/2 years in West Germany in the Army from 1977-1980. I loved Germany (hated the Army). I've often thought I should have got German citizenship and stayed there. I used to speak pretty good German back in the day, but I can't remember enough now to even order dinner. I went down to the Austrian border near Konigsee and Berchtesgarden. Wunderschön.
  4. Your kind have been clearly saying that they would consider any attempted impeachment to be a coup, so my question stands. What will you and your kind do when Trump is either impeached or removed with the 25th amendment? The leading opinion among your far right fascist friends is that they will start a "counter-coup". If that happens will you support the government or the rebellion?

The Nazis killed 20 million people. In WW2. They are a defeated enemy that the far right are trying to resurrect. They lost the right to be heard 20 million murders ago.
  6. Mike Pence isn't a malignant narcissist who is totally oblivious to anything other than himself and his own desires. Trump is dangerous. He would get us into a war that would kill millions of people, just to deflect attention from his administrations problems. I don't agree with Pence on many issues, but he is an experienced politician.
  7. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President. So basically the 25th amendment is carried out by the Vice President with a simple majority of the Presidents Cabinet.

Trump supporters Eventually when all of this crashes, when Trump is forced out of office for all of his treasonous activity, we will not forgive and forget. Voting for Donald Trump says more about you than it does about him. It was a character test and you failed. This is especially true of everyone without exception who continues to support Trump with full and complicit knowledge of his xenophobia, racism, corruption, and malignant Narcissiism. So far 3 or 4 of the CEO’s on Trumps council have quit in protest over his actions. Not one of the ministers on his faith advisory council have. It’s sickening to think that 3 CEO’s have a greater sense of moral and ethical responsibility than the ministers on Trumps council, or the millions of professing Christians who still blindly follow their Fuehrer have.
  9. Trump promotes the infighting to keep the 25th amendment from happening. The more the infighting, the less they trust one another and the less chance they will be able to come together enough of get that done.

Was the Ark Big Enough for Its Passengers?

Was the ark big enough for it's passengers? Unfortunately they overbooked and the unicorns lost their seats to a pair of gerbils.
  11. The bill was introduced by Emanuel Celler (D NY) on June 20, 1963 and was signed into law by LBJ on July 2, 1964.
  12. The southern democrats became republican because LBJ signed the civil rights act. He said that he knew that the racists would turn to the GOP (which opposed the civil rights act) and he was right, but he did it because it was the morally right thing to do.
  13. Does it make a difference whether a Christian is left or right? It absolutely does. First off being a right-winger because one does not like the Democrats is unthinking and illogical, as is unthinkingly choosing the entire platform of either side. Some say liberals have no moral foundation, but liberals have consistently stood for social issues central to the Christian faith. Here are a few verses to think about: Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. Ps 82:3-4 Give the king your justice, O God, and your righteousness to the royal son! May he judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice! Let the mountains bear prosperity for the people, and the hills, in righteousness! May he defend the cause of the poor of the people, give deliverance to the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor! Ps 72:1-4 Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered. Pr 21:13 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. Pr 31:8-9 The righteous is concerned for the rights of the poor, The wicked does not understand such concern. Pr 29:7 Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. Is 1:17 I stand with the democrats because the GOP has become dangerous and thoroughly unamerican. If you look at the platforms of the Republican leaders of the past you will see that they would be hated by the GOP as Socialist by the right-wingers of today. Look at the positions that the GOP loves today. They are trying their utmost to pass a health care bill that will take health care away from 20-30 million people. You say that liberals are not pro-life because most support abortion. But Republicans clearly show that they care nothing at all about the lives of those babies or they would fight tooth and nail to make sure that they have quality health care that their families can afford after they are born. You say that right-wingers are compassionate, but that's definitely not what American Christians are known for world wide. We are known as uncaring bigots who care for no one but themselves. And it was mentioned that most Christians in Europe are on the political right, but that is very misleading because European countries are far left of American politics. Most right wing political parties in Europe are closer to moderate democrats here (not counting Britain and the far right neo-Nazi parties in Europe. The European neo-Nazis are far closer to the GOP). It was mentioned that most Christians and Christian churches are politically right-wing. Sadly that is true, but all that means is that their religion is not pure and undefiled before our God and Father (Jas 1:27). Also it's interesting to note that in Mt 25:31-46 Christ could have spoken about any number of sins that describe false Christians. He could have mentioned heretical beliefs, he could have mentioned failure to associate with other believers in a church, or refusing to partake in the sacraments. But in every single case, the sins he chose were social sins against the poor, the refugees and immigrants, the sick, and the prisoners. Randy

    What happened to the dinos?

What happened to the dinosaurs? Maybe they had Trumpcare. Seriously though. I imagine that when we get to heaven, all the young earthers, old earthers, theistic evolutionists will get together & ask God what happened. And after we hear God's answer everyone there will say, "so THAT'S what it meant."

    Why Aren’t Calvinists Pacifists?

There's a couple of problems with your claims. First is an assumption that there is only one kind of pacifism. There are at least 2 dozen Christian forms of pacifism, not counting non-Christian forms. When describing why they aren't pacifists most will only take a more extreme example of why they aren't pacifists. The second problem is one of seeing the situation in binary terms: yes or no, black or white, just war or pacifist. Instead of seeing things in binary terms, it's often helpful to see things in terms of a sliding scale. Personally, I'm far more on the side of Christian non-violence (which is a much more helpful term than pacifist - which Carries a lot of baggage with it), than I am toward just war theory. However, just war theory is a valid expression of Christian ethics, assuming that Christians in the nations involved don't just blindly justify every war that comes down the pike, (which is what almost always happens). On the other hand, non-violence as an overriding ethic in ones personal life is a true expression of biblical ethics.
