It's an old collection from a UK publisher of the mid nineteenth century so I cannot in good conscience take credit.

Morning

Who shall he able to stand? Rev. 6:17

Who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap. Mal. 3:2

I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb, which is in the midst of the throne, shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. Rev. 7:9, 14-17

There is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Rom. 8:1 -- Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free. Gal. 5:1

Let Him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me. Isa. 27:5 -- Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace. Job 22:21

Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom. 5:1 -- A man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. Gal. 2:16 -- By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight. Rom. 3:20

Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Cor. 15:57

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psa. 119:105 -- I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. Psa. 119:99

Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. II Cor. 11:14 -- But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Gal. 1:8

Morning

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.
Rev. 3:19

My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: for whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. Psa. 103:10-14

Evening

God is in heaven, and thou upon earth therefore let thy words be few.

When ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of before ye ask him. Matt. 6:7, 8

They ... called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. I Kings 18:26

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other. Luke 18:10, 11, 13, 14

Lord, teach us to pray. Luke 11:1

Morning

We have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
I John 4:16

God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Eph. 2:4-7

Evening

Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate.

My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? James 2:1, 5

Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth. I Cor. 10:24 -- Having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. I Tim. 6:8, 9

God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise: and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence. I Cor. 1:27-29

LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty. Psa. 131:1

Col. 4:6

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear. Prov. 25:11, 12 -- Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Eph. 4:29 -- A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. By thy words thou shalt be justified. Matt. 12:35, 37 -- The tongue of the wise is health. Prov. 12:18

They that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Mal. 3:16

If thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth. Jer. 15:19 -- Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, see that ye abound in this grace also. II Cor. 8:7

Evening

Thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes
. Psa. 26:3

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. Psa. 145:8 -- Your Father which is in heaven: maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matt. 5:45

Be ye ... followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour. Eph. 5:1, 2 -- Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Eph. 4:32 -- Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently. I Pet. 1:22 -- The love of Christ constraineth us. II Cor. 5:14

Love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6:35, 36

Morning

Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
Matt. 4:1

In the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. Heb. 5:7-9 -- We have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Heb. 4:15

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. I Cor. 10:13 -- My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. II Cor. 12:9

Evening

The Son of man came to give his life a ransom for many.
Matt. 20:28

If the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Heb. 9:13, 14

He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter. Isa. 53:7 -- I lay down my life for the sheep. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. John 10:15, 18

The life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar, to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. Lev. 17:11 -- Without shedding of blood is no remission. Heb. 9:22

While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Rom. 5:8, 9

Morning

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
. I John 1:9

I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight. Psa. 51:3, 4

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. Luke 15:20 -- I have blotted out as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee. Isa. 44:22 -- Your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. I John 2:12 -- God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Eph. 4:32 -- That he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Rom. 3:26

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean. Ezek. 36:25 -- They shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Rev. 3:4

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ: not by water only, but by water and blood. I John 5:6

Evening

Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee?
Psa. 94:20

Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. I John 1:3 -- Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. I John 3:2, 3

The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. John 14:30 -- An high priest ... holy, harmless, undefiled. Heb. 7:26

We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph. 6:12 -- The prince of the power of the air, the spirit now worketh in the children of disobedience. Eph. 2:2

Whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. I John 5:18, 19

Morning

I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
Zech. 3:4

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Psa. 32:1

We are all as an unclean thing. Isa. 64:6

I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. Rom. 7:18

As many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Gal. 3:27

Ye have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him. Col. 3:9, 10

Not having mine own righteousness which is of the law, but ... the righteousness which is of God by faith. Phil. 3:9

Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him. Luke 15:22

The fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Rev. 19:8

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness. Isa. 61:10

Evening

The day shall declare it.
I Cor. 3:13

Judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. I Cor. 4:5

Why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more. Rom. 14:10, 12, 13

God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ. Rom. 2:16

The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. John 5:22, 27

The Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name, great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. Jer. 32:18, 19

Morning

The disciple is not above his master.
Matt. 10:24

Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. John 13:13

It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. Matt. 10:25 -- If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. John 15:20 -- I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world John 17:14.

Consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. Heb. 12:3, 4

Let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb. 12:1, 2 -- Forasmuch ... as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind. I Pet. 4:1

Evening

My son, give me thine heart.
Prov. 23:26

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! Deut. 5:29

Thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Acts 8:21 -- Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Rom. 8:7, 8

They ... first gave their own selves to the Lord. II Cor. 8:5 -- In every work that [Hezekiah] began ... to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered. II Chron. 31:21

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Prov. 4:23

Whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord. Col. 3:23 -- As the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men. Eph. 6:6, 7

I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. Psa. 119:32
