Why should Christians feed a company and help it stay in business, “knowing that it is going to use money to support an anti-Christian agenda?”

  • Chipotle just did something AWFUL to two NYPD officers

With public support for law enforcement at an all-time low, we’re seeing more incidents of police officers being treated horribly by folks across the country.

The latest such tale comes from a Chipotle restaurant where NYPD officers allege they were denied service.

Rumors of the incident have been making their rounds on the Internet, which has prompted the restaurant to speak out, saying the way things are being reported isn’t exactly accurate.

The story first gained traction after a user posted the claims on the “Thank you NYPD” Facebook page along with a letter to Chipotle from a similar incident that allegedly happened in Colorado.

Here’s Chipotle’s response to the rumors.

“[W]e work hard to be sure that all of our customers feel welcome in our restaurants and apologize if the actions of any of our employees suggested otherwise,” a Chipotle employee who, according to the Inquisitr, goes by the name Joe, wrote on the restaurant chain’s Facebook page. “When this happened roughly two weeks ago, we investigated and have taken appropriate measures to be sure this doesn’t happen again.

“We do want you to know, however, that we did not refuse service to anyone, nor did our staff conspire to make a gesture,” the statement continues. “It appears that any activity that took place was undertaken by a single employee, spontaneously. I hope that helps.”

Regardless of whether or not the officers were denied service or simply disrespected by employees, this kind of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable.

If you’re going to protest for a cause, which all Americans have the right to do, it’s to be done on your own time, not while you’re on the job.

People were attempting to enjoy a meal–which they were paying for with their own money–when these individuals likely caused a scene and disrespected individuals who work hard to keep the community safe.

While no one is denying the reality that bad cops exists, they aren’t the majority despite what the mainstream media wants you to believe.

These are people who willingly put their lives on the line every day to keep everyone safe and deserve to be treated respectfully.

Hopefully, Chipotle’s will take the necessary steps to make this right with the officers, as well as firing the employee involved in the incident.
