This past Sunday, Christian music artist Nathan Johnson put his wife Megan to rest after she died just eight hours following the birth of their little girl.

Around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, the 31-year-old first-time mom gave birth to Eilee Kate in what appeared to be a smooth delivery, CNN reports.

Johnson posted to Instagram, celebrating the arrival of their daughter: "Happy Birthday Eilee Kate Johnson. Megan was/is a professional and feels great. Her heart worked perfectly the whole time and Eilee introduced herself quickly and smooth. I am a rich man!!!"

"They were so excited, they couldn't sleep, so they spent time with the baby and talked all morning," Josh Wilson, longtime friend and band mate, told Washington Post.

According to CNN, Megan was able to hold and feed her baby at least once. Then, after about six hours, she started having trouble. By 11 a.m. she tragically passed away.

What did God want to prove?

You asked a strange question -- What did God want to prove? That apparently God has other plans for Mr. Johnson and his baby daughter. That this human body of ours is really only temporary. They will be reunited in heaven.

Megan is now with her Heavenly Father.

God blessed them with a beautiful baby girl.

Obviously God has different plans for Nathan Johnson.

Meagan is now in a casket without any consciousness and 'waiting' for Jesus' second coming.

Meagan's physical body is in the casket -- her spirit -- assuming that she was a believer at the time of her death, is with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will be rapturing the Church --all people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior -- up to Himself. And at some point in the future -- Jesus Christ will come to this earth to reign for 1,000years. After That ......Eventually everyone will be either in heaven or hell for eternity.

Praise God that by His grace He kept Meagan alive to deliver her and Nathan's baby giving them enough time together for the sake of us all to bear witness to His glory!

          God bless,
          William

Maybe the physical body sure, but the soul doesn't stay there. It's not some battery that just lies there until somebody takes them out. The question "what did God want to prove?" sounds like doubt. In the bible, God ordered Abraham to kill his own son in the name of faith, this could simply also pass as a test for Nathan. If you truly believe in God, and if you truly know that you're a righteous man, then you wouldn't fear death because it's just the transition to the afterlife.

Of course it's doubt on the part of the poster. I'd hardly compare Abrahams' experience with his son with Nathan and his wife and son. And , yes, a believer who looses a loved one in death, Will see them again in heaven. Dying is not a 'test' for people who loose a loved one in death.

In Abraham's case, it Was a test from God. IF he trusted God enough to be willing to give his son back to God. Isaac was his 'child of promise' Isaac would in turn marry and be the father of Jacob who would , in turn, be the Father of the Children of Israel -- many nations as God had promised.

In normal living, death takes place, one way or another. And, yes, believers Do have the assurance of seeing a born-again loved one in heaven in the future.

Well, that's the problem: my answer is "no" to both of those hypotheses.

Also, you seem to be disregarding the views of Christian denominations that believe that we are in a state of unconsciousness (or dreamless sleep) until Christ's second coming.

Why don't we go with what the Bible says. Scripture is actually silent on that -- we are simply with Jesus Christ upon death. When we look at someone in a caufin -- we like to think of them as 'sleeping' --the person's eyes are closed and they are not moving. At least we try to sooth children by saying that 'Grandma' / Grandpa' are sleeping.

We Need to acknowledge death -- the physical body is going to die. And we need to prepare children for real death. Kids who grow up on a farm -- the life and death cycles. The chickens they eat for supper. They were previously in the barn yard pecking around for their food. Now they are Our food. And cats and dogs as pets -- the birth of kittens and sometimes they die. People are going to die -- gently explain heaven and , yes, hell.

The story of Lazarus and the rich man, found in Luke 16:10-31, shows that this view is false.

How very sad. Reminds me of Rachel giving birth to Benjamen.

We need to realize that God is in charge -- He alone knows what is best in Everything. Yes, he will miss his wife. And their baby daughter will be raised by her loving father and others here on earth.

And, yes, both Dad and Mom were able to spend those next hours with their new daughter enjoying every minute of that time. Had they known ahead of time that she Would die at that particular time -- how would their time together have been spent? Would they have been anxiously trying to find 'some' alternative way to change her passing? Her husband will have that time of their being together always a wonderful memory.

In a way -- we Should be living as if it Will be the last thing we do. Because No one is promised 'tomorrow'.
