Has anybody watched the movie "The Way" ?

"THE WAY is a powerful and inspirational story about family, friends and the challenges we face while navigating this ever-changing and complicated world. Martin Sheen plays Tom, an irascible American doctor who comes to France to deal with the tragic loss of his son (played by Emilio Estevez). Rather than return home, Tom decides to embark on the historical pilgrimage "The Way of St. James" to honor his son's desire to finish the journey. What Tom doesn't plan on is the profound impact this trip will have on him. Through unexpected and oftentimes amusing experiences along "The Way," Tom discovers the difference between "the life we live and the life we choose.”" (more here - 404 Not Found).

I've watched it twice. It's very moving.

Never seen it, but sounds interesting.

Actually doing a pilgrimage like the Camino may seem rather strange to a non-Catholic, but ignoring that bit, the interplay of characters, each on their own life journey, is facinating.

No, I have never seen this movie before but it seems like it would be a very spiritual and scenic pilgrimage and his trek goes from France to Santiago. I think Martin Sheen's character walks the Camino de Santiago(also know as the way of Saint James) in this film after his son had died from walking the same pilgrimage. Also this is the green part of Spain though(Galicia)and I guess his father(martin sheen's)in real life is a american immigrant from here, so it sounds like a very soulful and uplifting journey to take with him.
