  • Dan 6:23-24

Daniel 6:23-24 King James Version (KJV)
23 Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

    Daniel 6:23-24
Darby 23 Thereupon was the king exceeding glad, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God. 24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and broke all their bones in pieces ere they came to the bottom of the den.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

23 The punishment and decree was carried out because Daniel spent the night in the lion’s den it was no longer illegal to bring him out. God had protected him and this stood as a witness and God would use this to move a pagan king to do something wise for those who followed God. We by following God can be used to positively influence.

24 So the men were thrown in and killed by the lions, this shows that the king was tired of the trouble makers and shows that the lions were hungry and that they only didn’t harm Daniel due to God’s protection.
